Our Warrior Brother Ralph Poynter Has Joined the Ancestors
Longtime fighter for Black rights, Political Prisoners and human rights in general RALPH POYNTER peacefully passed at about 10:30am this morning.
Sister Betty says a main point that Brother Ralph emphasized to her and to others over last two days, including during the last celebratory hours yesterday, where many friends and supporters were at his bedside was: “It is on you now. Continue the struggle.”
A memorial will be planned for February/early March.
May the degree of positivity, particularly Ralph’s fervor for social justice, that defined Ralph’s life be part of ours, ALWAYS. Forward ever!
